Location: Głubczyce,
Employment Contract.

We are seeking an experienced finance and accounting expert to join our organization. This person will take on a key role in accounting and tax and financial reporting. Together with their team, they will manage the company's accounting, ensure the highest quality of financial data, and be responsible for the proper functioning of the department and its processes. 

This position is for someone who wants to have a real impact on the organization of accounting processes, work directly with the Management Board and participate in the further development of the company.


Your role:

In this position you will be responsible for comprehensive management of the accounting area, in particular:

  • full bookkeeping in accordance with the Accounting Act and tax regulations, 
  • independent maintenance, control and reconciliation of the general ledger (GL), 
  • supervision over the correctness of accounting entries and the consistency of entries in synthetic and analytical accounts,
  • preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings, 
  • preparation of financial statements, VAT/CIT/JPK tax returns and management reports,
  • supervision of reserves, accruals, fixed assets and depreciation, 
  • cooperation with auditors, tax advisors, banks and external institutions, 
  • monitoring legislative changes and implementing them into accounting policy,
  • initiating improvements and standardization of financial and accounting processes, 
  • supporting the Management Board in analyzing financial data and making business decisions. 
Who we are looking for:

We invite people to apply who have:

  • at least 5 years of experience in independent full accounting,
  • experience as a Chief Accountant / Deputy Chief Accountant / Senior GL Accountant,
  • practical and very good knowledge of general ledger management, account reconciliation and month-end close processes,
  • very good knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations,
  • experience in preparing financial statements, 
  • high analytical and organizational skills,
  • the ability to make independent decisions and be responsible for the entrusted area, 
  • knowledge of financial and accounting ERP systems
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. 
Welcome:
  • knowledge of the Comarch system will be an additional advantage
  • experience in accounting for work in progress
  • knowledge of English,
  • experience in optimizing accounting processes, 
  • experience in working in companies with an extensive operational structure.
