The Top Farms Group , based on many years of experience in monitoring and reducing the environmental impact of its own agricultural production, offers specialist advisory services for entities from the agricultural, agri-food, retail and financial institutions sectors.

Our activities support clients in achieving sustainable development goals, compliance with regulations (CSRD, SFDR, GHG Protocol) and in building transparent, low-emission value chains.

The range of services offered includes:

  • Calculating the carbon footprint of agricultural production – both in terms of crop and animal production. We offer detailed analyses that enable the identification of the main sources of emissions and their optimization.
  • Developing decarbonization strategies – we prepare comprehensive greenhouse gas emission reduction plans for farms, companies and entire supply chains. Our strategies are based on baseline data analysis, scenario simulations and experience in regenerative agriculture.
  • Agronomic consulting , in particular in the implementation of regenerative farming practices. We support farms in improving soil health, increasing crop resilience to climate change and reducing emissions – these activities are directly linked to improving production efficiency and reducing the environmental footprint.
  • Training for farmers and other entities – we provide training in regenerative agriculture, soil management, environmental strategies and digital tools supporting decarbonization. Training is tailored to the level of knowledge and business profile of participants.

Advanced Computing Tools – Sandy Platform

As a strategic partner of Trinity Agtech , we use the Sandy application to calculate carbon footprints and other environmental footprints – one of the most advanced tools available on the market.

Sandy:

  • meets the requirements of the GHG Protocol and ISO 14067 in the scope of IPCC 2019 (Tier 2 and 3),
  • has been positively verified by Control Union Entity Certifications Germany GmbH:
    • GHG Protocol compliance certificate: CUC-ISO14064-1_08.2022_01 (issued on 22.08.2022),
    • ISO 14067 Certificate of Conformity: CUC-ISO14067_03.2023_01 (issued on 30/03/2023).

Thanks to our team of experts – combining agronomic and environmental competences – we ensure not only the correctness of input data, but also its proper interpretation and verification. We analyze the completeness of data for each agricultural product, which translates into high credibility of reports.

Alternative Calculation Standards

At the client’s request, we also perform calculations based on the methodology prepared by Bureau Veritas , compliant with The GHG Protocol Product Life Cycle Accounting and Reporting Standard , extended by the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories (Volume 4 – Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use) .
