The 13th Soi Days in Głubczyce are coming soon!
We cordially invite farmers, students of agricultural schools, representatives of local governments and all interested parties to the 13th edition of the Soy Days event in Głubczyce, organized by Top Farms Głubczyce Sp. z o. o. together with COBORU - Variety Assessment Experimental Station in Głubczyce.

The event will take place on September 8, 2023 on the plots of the Variety Assessment Experimental Station in Głubczyce. It was covered by the scientific patronage of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, the honorary patronage of the Marshal of the Opole Voivodeship, Andrzej Buła, and the media patronage of the monthly Nowoczesna Uprawa.

According to the program, the first part of the meeting included speeches by invited guests. The second part includes a presentation of soybean variety and agrotechnical experiments conducted at SDOO in Głubczyce (Mr. Eng. Dawid Karoń and Dr. Marta Bednarczyk) and a visit to the soybean press plant at Top Farms Głubczyce.

The lecture part will be led by:

  • Dr. Eng. Magdalena Serafin-Andrzejewska, Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences - "Impact of sowing date on soybean yield in southwestern Poland."
  • Prof. Ph.D. engineer Bogdan Kulig, University of Agriculture in Krakow - "Climate change and soybean cultivation."
  • Prof. Ph.D. engineer Edward Gacek, COBORU - "Possibilities of expanding soybean cultivation in Poland, based on literature and experimental results within the COBORU Protein Initiative."
  • Dr. Eng. Marcin Markowicz and Łukasz Krechowiecki from Top Farms Głubczyce - "Practical advice on soybean cultivation and the seed purchase offer from Top Farms Głubczyce."

The meeting will begin with registration of participants (9:30-10:00) and end with a summary and refreshments (2:00-3:00 p.m.).
