#1 AgroIntelli Robotti 150D (agricultural robot, autonomous agricultural machine)
We were the first in Poland to test the autonomous AgroIntelli Robotti 150D machine during a corn sowing test on a farm in Greater Poland.

The first such innovative, self-propelled robot from the Danish company AgroIntelli was delivered to a Czech farm in 2020. Recently, while sowing rapeseed, the robot broke records in its class in two categories: area of sown area - 30 ha and continuity of work without stopping - 24 hours (excluding breaks). for refueling and filling the seeder).

Robotti 150D can successfully replace an auxiliary tractor on the farm and work throughout the entire season, from cultivation to sowing and weeding. The robot's design allows it to be connected to standard machines. It is equipped with a diesel hydraulic system, PTO - power take-off shaft, RTK GPS, four-wheel drive and a 150 HP diesel engine. It can be controlled using a joystick or switched to standalone mode.

The tests carried out allowed to assess the operation and possibilities of using the robot in field work. This innovative machine has many advantages, it can work without interruption, while ensuring refilling of fuel and seeds in the case of sowing. In case of problems with employee availability, it allows work to be carried out uninterrupted. Operation is simple and possible remotely without leaving home and without the need to supervise work in the field. The device is equipped with a GPS-RTK system, cameras and two security systems, and stops in the event of an unforeseen obstacle. It is necessary to map the fields in advance and transport the robot to the field.

Its small size and weight allow you to start field work earlier, e.g. earlier sowing than using a tractor, which in the case of some crops, such as sugar beets, may have a significant impact on subsequent yields. The robot does not destroy the soil as much, it does not compact it like traditional technology, and by turning in place it does not cause crop loss on the headlands (headlands). The robot is characterized by a low operating speed of 4-6 km/h compared to standard technology. The advantage is the construction is based on standard parts, which facilitates potential repairs and its maintenance.

Our recommendations

Robots are an alternative to standard technologies in plant production. At Top Farms we have been using modern technologies for years, this is the future of agriculture. The autonomous AgroIntelli Robotti 150D machine can be successfully used for cultivation, sowing and weeding, especially in wide-row crops. The advantage of the robot is its design based on standard technological solutions and the ability to use typical devices and tools for work. It is perfect for specialist and ecological farms, e.g. for weeding. This is undoubtedly an excellent example of technology that fits into precision agriculture.
